Flare Gas

Stranded Gas

Problem

There are many fields of gas in the world that are economically unfeasible to develop and use. The main problem is transporting the gas, as it must either be pumped through a pipeline or undergo a process to convert it to LNG (liquefied natural gas) for transport and then re-vaporized upon delivery. Both pipelines and LNG plants are expensive to construct, making many gas deposits "stranded". As much as 3,000 TCF (trillion cubic feet) or 40% of the world's natural gas supply fit these criteria.

Dason Arrow

Dason's Proposed Solution

Dason's technology offers a way for the world to lessen its reliance on crude oil and extend crude supplies by tapping into the potential of natural gas. Dason's modular and small scale design would allow the reactor to be mounted on a ship or vehicle in order to service remote land and deepwater areas. By converting these gas deposits to a useable and transportable form Dason can develop these enormous latent markets.
